Chronic Disorganization - The Hidden Dilemma For Many Adults
Tired Of Not Being Able To Find Your Stuff?
Many adults suffer from the negative effects of chronic disorganization. For these people, it feels like an impossible task to stay organized.
Do any of the following ring true for you? - You're chronically late
- You're easily distracted
- You have a hard time finishing tasks
- You say yes to too many commitments
- You're unable to focus on one issue at a time
- You have trouble sleeping because you're trying to get mentally organized
- You learn better by doing something rather than by just hearing or reading about it
- For no apparent reason, you forget important dates and events
Is Adult ADHD A Myth?
Many people who suffer from chronic disorganization have Attention Deficit Disorder, commonly known as ADD or ADHD. Many adults are unaware that they have this disorder until their children are diagnosed.People with ADHD are often the brightest or most creative among us. They often thrive in situations where many things are going on at one time; they rule the multi-task world. However, the ADHD brain is simply not tuned properly to handle boring or routine tasks and chronic disorganization can result, leaving the individual feeling overwhelmed and not knowing where to start.
